DustOff in Construction
Construction work—urban, industrial, road, or residential—constantly generates particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) from vehicle traffic, earthmoving, material cutting, and temporary roads.
This dust affects the health of workers, dirties equipment, bothers nearby communities, and puts compliance with environmental regulations at risk. Furthermore, it creates a constant additional cost for watering, cleaning, and maintenance.
DustOff is an efficient, biodegradable, and easy-to-apply solution that reduces dust on construction sites, improves safety, saves water resources, and allows compliance with the requirements of environmental management plans (EMPs), DS 144, and building permits.
Better efficiency and less cleaning
DustOff helps reduce dust accumulation on solar modules, which translates into fewer cleanings, less maintenance, and less infrastructure wear and tear.
Where can DustOff be applied?
-
🛻 Internal routes for truck and heavy machinery transit
-
🧱 Maneuvering yards, parking, and loading areas
-
🛣️ Unpaved roadworks in commissioning phase
-
🧰 Excavation, backfill, or embankment areas
-
🏠 Streets adjacent to urban construction sites
-
🏗️ Storage areas for granular or loose materials
How does DustOff work?
DustOff is mixed with water and applied directly to surfaces using conventional irrigation equipment (water truck, nozzles, backpack sprayers).
Once applied, it forms a film that binds soil particles, stabilizes the surface, and prevents dust from being lifted by traffic or wind. Its action is prolonged, reactivable with humidity, and can last for weeks depending on environmental conditions.
Strategic Applications with DustOff
-
🔹 Urban and building works:
Dust control on perimeter roads and work yards.
-
🔹 Road works:
Stabilization of unpaved roads during execution.
-
🔹 Industrial works:
Dust suppression in storage and constant transit areas.
-
🔹 Real Estate Projects:
Dust reduction in heavy machinery access and common areas.
-
🔹 Public projects or concessions:
